MONTESSORI PROGRAMS
MONTESSORI PROGRAM FOR INFANTS
Our wonderful Montessori infant care environment is cozy, warm, and specially designed for mobility.
In our lovely infant classroom setting, we foster and nurture your child’s independence:
- Plenty of floor space for children to move and explore, as they are ready
- We follow a child’s natural sleeping and waking process
- Meals and feedings are determined by a child’s natural hunger patterns
MONTESSORI PROGRAM FOR TODDLERS
Young children actively seek out information, learn quickly and easily, and are especially interested in demonstrating independence. Our toddler classrooms give them the freedom to learn as much as they can and as quickly as possible.
This is the time for children to explore and discover through active play, as children learn best by discovering, interacting and developing activities.
OBJECTIVES
With the Montessori methodology I seek to reach the maximum potential of children, where activities will be carried out to develop social skills, emotional growth and physical coordination, this education focused on promoting independence and love for children’s learning.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Promote socialization, respect and solidarity, in an appropriate environment, where children learn to interact appropriately with each other and with adults through dialogue. Some of these interactions include greeting and receiving guests in the classroom, preparing and sharing snacks with peers, and exercising appropriate mealtime behavior.
It is focused on teaching in the first instance the emotional intelligence and the individual aspect, in such a way that they prepare so that they can achieve success always according to their personality. If we learn to identify and manage our own emotions, we learn to know ourselves better and, therefore, to be able to respond.
It is an important part of child development and is one of the skills that are fostered in the Montessori method. In our nursery children will learn through exploration and free play. Children have the freedom to move and explore their environment, allowing them to develop fine and gross motor skills. Los educadores también pueden proporcionar actividades específicas para ayudar a los niños a desarrollar su coordinación física.
Hours begin Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm; with flexible schedules adapted to the needs of each family.
We open our doors the moment parents make the decision to enroll their children with us so they can play, learn and enjoy meeting new friends.
Our Curriculum offers children five key areas of study: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture. Each learning area is made up of a set of Montessori materials that each teach one key knowledge area or skill.
The daycare has areas called corner which are:
1. Corner Nap/quiet time.
2. Reading corner.
3. Corner of practical and sensory life.
4. Corner of manipulative activities for the development of children.
5. Settlement corner with granules and water.
